Définitivement bien plus fin que la série (pour ce que j'en ai vu). Un roman noir / roman d'espionnage d'uchronie, qui suggère bien plus qu'il ne dit. Bref, il faut que je lise davantage de Philip K. Dick !

Un très beau livre, qui à partir d'un faisceau ténu d'indices (chroniques, pierres runiques, sites archéologiques) raconte l'histoire de Harald à la dent bleue. Guerrier puis roi, converti au christianisme, grand bâtisseur et conquérant, il a sans doute été le promoteur d'un pouvoir royal fort, attentif à sa mémoire et à sa place dans le jeu diplomatique européen. Sa postérité aujourd'hui est contrastée, mais tout le monde connaît le symbole runique qui lui est associé, celui du Bluetooth ! A recommander à tout le monde : ce livre est vraiment très bien écrit, très enlevé, et permet de parcourir mers et terres dans le Danemark du Xe siècle.
